Majority of driveways that require cleaning are block paving, this often comes with lots of weeds and moss growing within the joints of the blocks as well as the usual black spot, algae and vehicle grease/dirt on the blocks themselves. We will also clear any drain aways and drains to ensure these are not blocked to avoid any flooding of areas.

These jobs tend to take slightly longer than patios due to the need to remove all moss and weeds from in between the blocks, as well as removing the sand that is in the joins. We will endeavour to clear the sand that is removed so that it does not flow into drain aways or drains and avoid blocking. After the initial clean with high pressu
These jobs tend to take slightly longer than patios due to the need to remove all moss and weeds from in between the blocks, as well as removing the sand that is in the joins. We will endeavour to clear the sand that is removed so that it does not flow into drain aways or drains and avoid blocking. After the initial clean with high pressure water, we will then apply our cleaning chemicals to allow us to kill off algae and lichen that is growing on the blocks themselves. This step works quite quickly and then will only require an additional rinse to wash away the chemicals.

Re-sanding is the most important stage after the area has been cleaned as this stabilises the block to prevent them from moving around, it also helps to prevent weed and moss returning quickly. After the area has been sanded, we will then apply a treatment to extend the prevention of moss and weeds for up to 6 months!
